From Coach Harmison - "Our new Esports Fortnite team won 1st place in the regionals and placed 3rd place overall in the whole state at playoff competitions held on 5/5/23 at Belong Esports arena in Polaris!
A very significant achievement considering that we played against 8 teams regionally and 30 teams statewide (simultaneously and remotely from the 4 quadrants of Ohio using 4 Esports arenas like Belong) during the tournament, with over 90 players. There were 3 'drops' total and we came in 1st for the second drop (meaning - the very best in the state for that single round). The entire regular season consisted of many more teams and players. The official results for the season and today are here. Not too shabby for our first year. Great team work and very proud of these Hawks!
