Engineering and Robotics Summer STEM Program acceptance at MIT

Two of our Freshmen have been awarded a full scholarship—including tuition, airfare, transportation, meals, and a stipend—by the Putney Open Door Fund to participate in the Engineering and Robotics Program at MIT from July 8 to July 17, 2025. They will have an incredible opportunity to explore MIT’s campus while deepening their interest in STEM, working alongside like-minded peers and renowned researchers who are pushing the boundaries of science and technology.

This marks our third consecutive year sending students to prestigious summer STEM programs at elite universities like MIT and Harvard on full scholarships. I was informed that no other schools across the U.S. have received scholarships for their students in these programs—let alone for three years in a row. The board of directors praised our high-quality STEM programs in an urban setting and expressed their commitment to continued collaboration with us in the years ahead.
