March 18th was the District 7 Science Day at Columbus State Community College.
Eight of our students participated in this competition. The students did a great job presenting their projects and representing HSA Columbus High School. Mrs.Meldrum and Mr.Caliskan served as judges at the competition. Also, Mr.Gercek was our driver (we would not have made it without him) and Ms. Hicks chaperoned the event.
District Science Day determines which projects will move on to State Science Day. To move on, students need to score between 36-40 points (out of 40 points). Therefore, the ranking of "Superior" can be challenging for all students to receive. Please remind all these students that they are AWESOME!
