Last Saturday, May 11th Ms. Hicks along with Blessing Gyimah the Ohio Academy of Science’s 2024 State Science Day: A Celebration of Science event at The Ohio State University Student Union. Blessing received a “superior” ranking for her Science Fair Project which was submitted to the State Science Fair competitions back at the end of March.
At this event, Blessing was able to present her project to university faculty, business people, teachers, parents, and of course fellow students. It also was a great networking event. "It was amazing to see so many students in attendance and their love for science." Ms. Hicks says. Additionally, they were able to have a site visit tour of the Agriculture Lab/Greenhouse at OSU.
